Aspiration Day

Every year, SMA Negeri 3 Bandung hold an Aspiration Day. Aspiration Day is the day where all the students of SMA Negeri 3 Bandung could give their aspiration about everything that related to our school. The aspiration can be in form of critics, opinions, or even suggestions. This event is organized by Student Parliament.

In Aspiration Day, every class has their own representative to collect every aspiration that every student has in that class. The students of each class can also give their aspirations to the member of Student Parliament in their class.

 

Then, the Student Parliament will collect all those aspirations from each class. The aspiration have to be honest and  have the quality of making the school better. After the Student Parliament collect and filter all the aspirations, they will give it to the school deputy. Therefore, they can make a better school every year.

Aspiration day also can give us some motivation. That comes from the guest that our school invited for like an interview, or more like talk show. These guest will telling story about their life that somehow will kind of give us motivation for our future.

Black Moon

Black Moon is a natural phenomenon that is hard to observed. Most experts agree the term black moon refers to the second new moon in a calendar month. Joe Rao from space.com explains: "A second full moon in a single calendar month is sometimes called a blue moon. A black moon is supposedly the flip side of a blue moon; the second new moon in a single calendar month."

The black moon event will take place in the early hours of Saturday morning at 1:11am (GMT) for those in the Western Hemisphere.

The black moon will coincide with Halloween for those in the Eastern hemisphere.

Unfortunately, you won’t actually be able to see it as the moon will appear invisible. It will just be very dark.

The last black moon was in March 2014 and the next one after this year’s is expected in 2019.
