My Last Holiday



2 weeks ago, I went to Semarang for holiday with my parents. We stayed for a night at the hotel. Next morning, we came to Lawang Sewu. We’re moving around and took some photos of the building. Then we went to Magelang. We visited Prambanan Temple and Borobudur Temple. I ate some of Lumpia Semarang for lunch. After lunch, we went straight to Adisucipto airport at Jogja. I went back alone to Bandung, because my dad have some work there.
Then last week, i went to Makassar to attend my cousin’s wedding. I arrived at 2AM WITA. I stayed at my aunt’s home. The next day, I came with my mother to my cousin’s wedding hall and help her to decorate the hall. Me and my brother searching for wallpaper wall. We put the wallpaper around the hall. After that we came back home and start to cooking some food for catering. We cooked the desert too.
My cousin stayed at the other home, so at night I came there with my sister to sleep along with her. Next morning, I woke up first and preparing for the wedding. I took a bath at 4AM and then I watching cartoon until 5AM. I went to my nephew’s room and told him to take a bath before the other wake up and fighting over the bathroom. After he’s on bathroom, I serve a breakfast for him. I change my clothes at my mother’s room. And then I go first to the wedding hall with my father.

At the wedding hall. I stayed on the VIP room for the bride with my cousin and my sister. My sister took some photos of us. We went outside and downstairs to took a family photo. At 1PM, I went back to my aunt’s home and change my clothes then I went to the airport with my brother. He woke me up after we arrived at the airport. We took a lunch first then I went back to Bandung, while he went to Samarinda for work. My mother and sister would back home on the next day and my father back to Jakarta.

WHAT IS CHAMELEON?

Chameleons are reptiles that are part of the iguana suborder. These colorful lizards are known as one of the few animals that can change skin color.
There are many different sizes of Chameleon. It can grow up about 16 centimeters-70 centimeters long.
Chameleons live in Madagascar, Africa, Spain, Portugal and Asia in rain forests, savannas, semi-deserts and steppes.
Chameleon usually prey on crickets, bird, insect or mice.

CHAMELEON’S SKILL

Chameleon can move his tongue faster than a fighter. They ballistically projecting their long tongue from their mouth to capture prey located some distance away. The chameleon’s tongue is typically thought to be 1.5 to 2 times the length of their body
Chameleon has an unique eyes. Their eyes can move independently of each other, enabling them to look in two different directions at once. Chameleons have a full 360-degree view and can focus their eyes quickly and enlarge what they are looking at like a camera lens.
Chameleons have a much wider visible range than us humans.

CHAMELEON FACTS

Male chameleons are much more decorated than female chameleons and actually live longer.
Chameleon can change his skin-color as a response to its emotions, such as anger or fear, changes in light, temperature or humidity.
Chameleon has more than 100 species.
Chameleon has a long-tongue that can move very fast.
The Madagascan Chameleon has been labeled as the vertebrate with the world's shortest life span. Their eggs hatch in November, the young become adults in January, they lay eggs in February, and then the entire adult population perishes after a lifespan of just three months.
The smallest Chameleon only grow up to 16 millimeters long.

CHAMELEON LIFE-CYCLE

The size of the chameleon predicts how many eggs she will lay. Small chameleon species lay two to four eggs while larger chameleons lay 80 to 100 eggs at one time.
Chameleon usually lay eggs 3-6 weeks after copulation on the ground or sand. The eggs will be aligned an buried by it’s mother.
The eggs hatch after 4-12 months.
Chameleons become mature at 1 to 2 years of age.
